Honey Farm Bee Hive Tours: end of Season
Come along with a bee keeper from Ginny Bee Honey Farms and explore the life of bees. With a small group suit up in bee protective clothing and become a bee keeper for an hour. Tours are setup to teach about the world of bees and how valuable they are to our food. You’ll assist in finding the queen, measuring honey, identifying pollen, and monitoring bee life cycles. With such a hands-on tour you'll come away with an experience that not many others can brag about. Tour concludes with a taste test of organic honey the Island bees have worked so hard to make. Make sure to bring your cameras as there will be plenty of photo opportunities.
