The annual Spring concert always offers an impressive line-up of chamber musicians. This year's artists are Delores Stevens (piano), Michael Wayne (clarinet), Lila Brown (viola) and Blaise Dejardin (cello), performing the music of Beethoven, Connesson, Franck and Uhl. The mission of the Martha's Vineyard Chamber Music Society is to produce world-class chamber music concerts, promote and support classical music learning opportunities, and create awareness of the value and significance of fine music on the Island. Their belief is that live music should be accessible to all as it expands creativity, enhances intelligence and enriches the spirit.
