The Sultans of Swing featuring Joanne Cassidy and Erika Van Pelt of American Idol Fame join Media Voices For Children for a Holiday Ball to benefit MVC at Dreamland in Oak Bluffs. Door at Dreamland open at 8pm, live music at 9pm. Tickets available at the door: $10 cash or check, $15 with credit card. The party is 21 and above only with cash bar. The event's proceeds will benefit Media Voices for Children, the internet news agency for children's rights, to further their work to raise public awareness and support programs that that impact poverty and globalization on the world’s children. Media Voices for Children
Doors at 8PM. 21+ - Island-based Media Voices for Children is a non-profit organization that works to raise awareness of the needs of poor children in the U.S and around the world, through documentary film production, public advocacy and direct action. The organization runs an online community for children’s rights, mediavoicesforchildren.org, and supports former child laborers’ educations through its Kenyan Schoolhouse program, now in its tenth year.

Directions: Across the street from The Flying Horses. Street parking near Dreamland is limited, especially in July and August. It is strongly recommended to use public transportation and/or taxi service to travel to and from Dreamland.
