On Saturday evening November 24th the familiar walls of Edgartown’s Old Whaling Church will resound with the sounds of -Much Ado About Music-. The program will highlight a work for violin and piano by Erich Wolfgang Korngold in which he musically interprets Shakespeare’s famous comedy -Much Ado About Nothing- including Dogberry and his constables. Performers will be the superb violinist Hye-Jin Kim and Delores Stevens at the keyboard. Lighting up the balance of the program will be violist Scott Woolweaver and cellist Ronald Lowry, both fabulous artists, who will each perform a virtuosic sonata. Then all join together for the finale, the extraordinary Piano Quartet by Camille Saint-Saens.
