Vineyard Warrior Triathlon combines the individual legs of a 1 mile swim, a 24 mile bike, and a 6.2 mile run into one race spanning the towns of Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, West Tisbury, and Edgartown. This is considered an Olympic (or International distance) triathlon, which is a sport exploding in popularity across the United States. The event is limited to the first 600 registered participants. Registrants must be 16 years of age to compete. Registration packets will be picked up Saturday September 10th. All racers must arrive by Saturday. The race begins Sunday morning with the swim at Inkwell Beach in Oak Bluffs.
