This is a great end-of-summer event for the whole family, from toddlers to grandparents. Prior to the race there's a Kid's Fun Run for children 10 and under, with prizes for all. Adult and young adult racers may run or walk the US Track and Field Association Certified 5K course around the East Chop bluffs, with a spectacular view of Vineyard Sound. Dr. and Mrs. Louis Sullivan's generous support of this event has helped raise over $100,000 for the Hospital since the first race nearly two decades ago. Their belief that daily exercise is a great way to improve overall health and their love of walking serve as the inspiration for this event. It is a wonderful day for families and friends to turn out in support of good health and good fun.
