Formerly the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Lammont du Pont Copeland, Mt. Cuba Center continues the passionate tradition of it's founders to celebrate native plants through gardening and conservation. With there ethereal beauty, the sophisticated woodland gardens and complex combinations of woodland flowers are a model for those seeking to learn more about gardening inspired by natural processes. Mt. Cuba Center's gardens also serve as a means of sharing a commitment to responsible gardening, biodiversity protection, and support for conservation. Please join our director Rick Lewendowski for this joyful journey through Mt. Cuba Center's exquisite gardens, a glimpse into it's plant exploration and biodiversity mission.
