Come to the MVRHS and join National Geographic in the launch of the new water book, 'Written in Water, Messages of Hope for Earth's Most Precious Resource.' Also available will be National Geographic Magazine's new April issue dedicated to water. The weekend will celebrate water and the arts along with a free Green Fair, featuring renowned environmental speakers, National Geographic water films, poetry and music. Be sure to also attend the book signing reception and concert with Poet Laureate, Ogilvie, speaker Alexandra Cousteau as well as performances by Katie Mayhew/Maggie Howard and R. Carlos Nakai at the Whaling Church on May 2nd at 6pm. (Concert tickets are $25, and are on sale here.)
