The Annual Oak Bluffs Memorial Day Five Kilometer Road Race and One Mile Fun Run. The race begins at 11 AM, preceded by the Fun Run at 10:30 am. Pick up your number and free t-shirt at the Wesley Hotel on May 23 between 3 and 6pm or on May 24 between 9 am 10am. To pre-register, call the Hospice at 508-693-0189. Hospice of Martha's Vineyard was founded in 1981. It is a free, community-supported program whose mission is to meet the unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all who are facing advanced illness and loss and to give them hope, comfort and compassion. The organization provides all care free of charge without insurance reimbursement allowing it to serve those in need with a life-limiting illness, regardless of treatment choices or prognosis.
