THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELED. The Jean Redpath show is canceled. due to an unfortunate loss of a good friend of ours and hers. Jean was one of only four performers commanded to appear by Queen Elizabeth at the royal banquet at Edinburgh Castle during the Royal Jubilee Year. Ten years later her name appeared on the Queen's Birthday Honors List and she was invited to Buckingham Palace to be awarded an M.B.E. (Member of the British Empire). The Governor of Kentucky has made her a Kentucky Colonel; she has been inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame, and in 1998, a portrait commissioned by the Glenrothes Burns Club and Fife Arts Council and painted by Alexander Fraser.

Venue Information:
Directions: Spring Street is the first left off of Main Street Vineyard Haven. However, if you're driving Spring goes one way onto Main, so you must go to the next street, Center, take a left, go two blocks, go left and then make the next left, looping you back around. Town Hall is the large building with double staircase on the left. Second block on Spring from Main if you're walking.
