The late William Kunstler was one of the most famous and controversial lawyers of the 20th century. At the center of such cultural and political touchstone events as the defense of the Chicago 8, the Attica Prison riots, the standoff at Wounded Knee, and the Central park jogger rape case, Kunstler represented accused terrorists and murderers as well as civil rights and anti-war activists. In William Kunstler: Disturbing the Universe, filmmakers Emily and Sarah Kunstler explore their father's life - from middle-class family man, to movement lawyer, to the most hated lawyer in America - by confronting the world's, and their own, changing perceptions of his work and his legacy. Q&A with directors Emily and Sarah Kunstler following the film.
